I just published two slow-moving videos about warping boats at the dock on Youtube. One was a re-edit of a previously published video of Sampaguita, a 1985 Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20 with a full keel, which I recently discovered had some annoying glitches. Sampaguita has her mast lowered again this week for a port shroud replacement and thorough inspection. The port shroud had some conflict with a sail ring during my Vancouver Island rounding and neither got out unscathed. I decided it was worthy of refreshing and the sailmaker has the sail in hand. On Day 3, I went from Mats Mats to Port Townsend via the Port Townsend Canal and Port Hadlock. I originally planned to take my time in leaving, but upon checking the current chart for the Port Townsend Canal, I realized it would change to a flood earlier than I originally expected.
