Sampaguita. Sam′pə gē′tə. What a beautiful name that no one can understand on the radio, at least here in the States. It’s not any better on the telephone, or in person, for that matter. Sampaguita Crosses the Strait of Georgia.
In the morning I went for a paddle in the kayak out to English Bay. I ate a snack, window shopped at the Maritime Museum and checked out the boats tenuously anchored there.
